Think of reverse engineering, modding and the mashup as the concretized ‘capture’ of experience/knowledge in the patterns of information. And yet, these patterns are not ossified like discourse, ideology, or commodities. You might call them articulations (or assemblages) that are destined for further elaboration and unravelling. Wark combines a Deleuzian and Marxist approaches to these themes in his Hacker Manifesto.

we met at Jason’s place and discussed the week’s reading

Jason’s voice chat was disabled, which may have been a good thing…

perhaps students had more ‘voice’ when the instructor’s was silenced

for those whose voice chat was working, we sometimes heard more than we should have… like aural evidence of multitasking

does anyone remember where we went after our discussion? We visited a holodeck, but also this place…?
